We are all safe and sound in NYC waiting out Hurricane Irene! Mathew was out of town (until this morning when he caught an earlier flight). I got our family packed, prepped and ready to go in the event we needed to evacuate quickly.
Our family emergency 72 hour kits. One for each member of the family (including baby sister who has yet to come). Also, there is a basket of snacks, first aid kit and towel that we can throw in the car.
I packed and got our house ready looking a little something like this...(2 weeks until baby is due!)
And then today before the worst of the storm was suppose to hit, we got a group together at the church gym to let the kids run wild before being in the house for a few days.
Now we are sitting and waiting to see how bad this storm really will be!
