Halloween

this is elle in her halloween day outfit with her friend bryson (he was a BYU football player)..so cute!elle's peacock costume on the hanger mathew was gone during the "trick-or-treating" part of halloween, so we went with brittany and her two adorable childrenshe made these fabulous treats for dessert. she CARVED oranges and put jello inside (ADORABLE!)

A HUGE congratulations are in order for my little sister Brittany! She found out yesterday that she is having a boy. So far she has had the easiest pregnancy ever, because she just found out last week that she was pregnant. If only we could all be that lucky!



I can't wait to meet baby P.

the monkey is growing up!

Our little monkey is growing up. She turned 7 months old on Sunday and is growing like a weed. She is just on the verge of crawling and I am not sure how I feel about that. She will be ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Per the request of her Aunt Brittany, this post is mainly dedicated to showcase our growing girl.

she loves riding in the stroller. i love when she starts to get tired when we are walking around, because she just chills.

On the first day of school, it was Mathew's birthday (Happy Birthday Mathew!)
this is elly (our neighbors daughter). elle just loves elly! she is hilarious and at 21 months old speaks better than some 4 yr olds.

the move to provo

As many of you know we moved to Provo, Utah in August for Mathew to start the MBA program at BYU. The drive was long, but we had Ben to assist with the driving! He was a huge help. I honestly don't know what we would have done without him. (Thanks B!)

These are some of the photos we took along the way (from the car). Mostly in Southern Utah, because it is gorgeous.

the sunflower fields were incredible. we weren't ever able to stop, so hopefully this photo will do the region a bit of justice.

Our little Elle was such a trooper!

As soon as we arrived, Mathew had to leave to go on a rafting trip. It was just Ben, Elle and I. We made our way up to Park City, where we putzed around for a bit.
again, she is such a little trooper!

We drove up to the Olympic Village and this was the view from the top. Ben and I both got a bit sick on the way back down to Salt Lake City. Neither of us were use to the altitude.

We were also able to meet up with the Vincent side of Mathew's family and eat dinner. It was so fun and the first time they all met Elle.

San Diego

We went to San Diego the first week of August for Nick and Cassie's wedding. It was fantastic and they both looked fabulous.

Port Aransas

I know this post is way past due, but now that we are at a holding point for awhile, I figured I would try and update. Mathew and Elle watching fireworks.

Mathew, Elle and I went to Port Aransas, Texas (the beach) for the 4th of July. We had a great time, even though there were enormous amounts of seaweed and spurts of rain.
