we finally picked a name!
elizabeth nichole harrison or "elle"
the many reasons we chose the name we did:
elizabeth:
1. i love jane austen's book Pride and Prejudice, more specifically i love the character Elizabeth Bennet. she is well read, intelligent, quick witted, assertive and confident. the qualitites and characteristics she embodies are those that we hope our elizabeth will display.
2. according to baby name websites, elizabeth is hebrew for: God is my Oath
3. it will turn into my favorite nickname, "elle"
4. when googling the name elizabeth harrison, making sure we weren't going to name her something that would be easily made fun of, we ran across this bit of trival information...benjamin harrison (the 23rd president of the u.s.a.) had a daughter named elizabeth harrison AND she was born on Feb. 21. the same day as our elizabeth!
5. elizabeth is a great biblical name: elizabeth was the mother of john the baptist.

We like her chubby arm that apparently has two creases. I consulted the stars and this means that she will single-handedly conquer Mexico.
