Past Due

Our due date has come and gone and now we are waiting...patiently...for our little one to arrive. Hopefully we'll have some good news soon. However, we wanted to fill everyone in on what's happened in the past few months.

If you go back to one of my November posts you'll see that my car was broken into. Well, less than a month later, our house was broken into! They took about everything that was of value that they could carry - even Mathew's scriptures from his mission. Although it was a very disturbing experience, we learned a lot and fortunately neither of us were home so no one was hurt. We love Dallas, but sure wish there wasn't as much crime!

Later on we'll post a list of things that we've learned from this experience that you find helpful.

On a more exciting note...we are moving...to Provo, Utah! Mathew will now proudly sport the colors of blue and white, as he has been accepted into the BYU MBA program.

We are really excited and look forward to moving our new little family (with a 5 month old) to the so called 'land of milk and honey.'

Also, this past week I got in a minor fender bender that actually ended up totalling my car. So now we are on the hunt (2 days past my due date) for another car. Life has definitely been interesting the past few months, but bottom line we are both doing well and are about to embark on an adventure that neither of us are close to understanding or prepared for. I can't wait to post pictures of this little baby that has been growing inside of me, by Thursday she will be here and I will try and have pictures up as soon as possible. 2 weeks ago the sono was estimating her weight at roughly 7 lbs. 14 oz. I am interested to see how big she really is...I feel like I am carrying around a 10 lb. baby!
