baby and birthday

It has already been a busy week for us and it is only Wednesday! As mentioned last post we took Elle to her 4 month appointment Monday where she had her first set of shots. We decided to delay her vaccinations, because we didn't feel comfortable giving her shots at 2 months when we hadn't taken the time to learn about them, so we decided to follow Dr. Sears suggested delayed scheduled that we found in The Vaccine Book.


Mathew wasn't able to make it to her appointment, so my mom came with me (thanks mom!) Then she stayed the night with us and watched Elle while Mathew took me on a date to Capital Grille where we ate the Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak. It was an INCREDIBLE birthday dinner (thanks Mathew!!)

On Tuesday (happy 26th birthday to me :) Mathew took the day off work and came over to Mom and James' house to hang out. I was able to lay out a bit by the pool while Mathew and Mom played with Elle...it was such a nice treat!

Then today (Wednesday) Sarah, Tasha, Desiree and I got together and had lunch to continue the celebration of my birthday and Sarah brought cupcakes from Sprinkles and they were delicious (thanks guys!)

We also started Elle on rice cereal today (more pictures to follow). It has been hilarious to say the least.
