elle is a very independent little girl and is always on the go...it shouldn't surprise me that she has to feed herself. it is an entertaining process to watch, to say the least. below is a typical dinner...

elle - see mom, i am doing so well...it goes straight into my mouth
elle - i should probably just feel it, just in case things have changed from the last time i shoved my hand in my bowl of food.
elle - yep, still feels the same. i wonder if it feels the same on my tray
elle - drinking my water is tricky business with food all over my hands
elle - uh oh...(this is really what she said when her cup fell in her bowl)...mom, i can't get this out!!!!
elle - thank you momthen it is off to the bath to clean the peas out of her hair, ears, nose and every other place that it could possibly go.
she is such a happy little camper in the water
