planning is a pain in my royal bum!

And we are off to the races! The days are here one second and then gone the next. As much as I want the next week and a half to fly by, I still have a wedding to plan! AHHH! I am starting to really hammer out the details and things are starting to come along nicely. We are having the reception on August 11 at the Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas. It is gorgeous! I know that the pictures probably won't do it justice, but feel free to browse through the website and take a gander.

We also have a pretty good idea of what our cake looks like. I am meeting with the cake lady next Tuesday to get everything taken care of, but for now...use your imagination. The two cake minus the swively swirls on the side of the white cake and the writing on the blue. What we are shooting for is a blue cake with white chocolate shavings. Interesting? Maybe we won't have that, maybe we will?!?

So that is the cake combo...as far as centerpieces are concerned, I am thinking something along the lines of blue. What do you think? Here are several ideas that I like, it is just a matter of finding the proper materials to recreate what is seen in the picture (I found the picture on www.brides.com so if you see anymore that you like, let me know :)

The biggie that I am waiting on right now are my invitations. Once those things come in the mail on Wednesday, I am going to stay up until every last on of them are addressed, stamped and ready to be mailed!
