There she is....my lovely little Thelma. She has no shame in her game. She hauled all of my stuff from Boston to Dallas SANS PROBLEME!So here is a little side note for everyone....I am going to be MRS. HARRISON....ahhhhh! three cheers for the home team. Hip Hip -- HOORAY! Hip Hip -- HOORAY! Hip Hip -- HOORAY! We are on count down ladies and gentlemen! It is officially 13 days until I get married! July 29 is just around the corner. I still can't believe this is all actually happening. It feels like just the other da
y I was making the dreaded 30 hour long trip from Dallas to Boston. Now not only have I made the trip up to Boston, but I have made it back down again to Dallas. Thanks to Mathew and his help along the way, Thelma, Mateo and I made it safely back home on the fourth of July. On our trip home we drove through D.C. for just a bit to take some photos of Mathew's old apartment (where he lived when he interned.) Then watched as preparation for all of the fourth of July festivities were going on. I love that city! It makes me so proud to be in this great country! Then we continued to drive through Virginia, which is GORGEOUS by the way and then we drove through Tennessee, which took about 5 or 6 years. Finally around 2 a.m. we were nearing the home stretch and landed ourselves in the most disgusting state in our nation...ARKANSAS, where not only did we see some of the most interesting people of our lives, but we also received the worst bug bites of our lives as well. We pulled over for gas and were attacked! We were itching for days afterwards. Then finally, we rolled into the great state of TEXAS in the wee hours of the morning! What a great trip. Don't worry, we did document this trip, as well as our one night stay with my family in Philadelphia. Hope you enjoy :)

Beautiful Virgina
How often do you run across a Hungry Mother Park? I laughed outloud just a little bit!

So I got a little artsy fartsy in Virginia. It was just too beautiful there not to take fun pictures. I almost look like a professional. Maybe I should start charging people thousands of dollars an hour to take pictures of a wedding. (no, I am not bitter at all about how much a wedding costs!)

Just another picture of Virgina. Last one, I promise!

This is the lucky guy who gets to marry me. Just kidding! I am the lucky one :)

Mathew opened a fizzy bottle of water and it exploded all over his pants, then when we got out of the car, he noticed he had a black substance all of his pants as well. My theory on the black substance is: a trucker spit chew out of his window, it went from his truck at 80 mph to Mathew's pants. The picture doesn't do this situation justice. We were both rolling!

Along the 5 year drive through TN, Mateo and I stopped at only the really important places, like the University of Tennessee's football stadium (which holds over 100,000 people!) Nashville and all of the country music that goes along with it, Graceland....ok, well we didn't really stop by Graceland, but we talked about stopping by. Maybe next time. Anyhow, this is a bridge right across from the stadium. The campus sat right on this river. It was beautiful!

this is the stadium... the picture doesn't really do it justice. This thing is a monster!
